Who is replying to the Pro JW side on yahoo, are they counting it as time and was the hillbilly the only one who was honest enough to admit JWs have problems showing concern for new people walking in their doors? Why are they inviting people over to their Kingdom Halls if they can't service the correctly?
The witnesses on Yahoo are taking after their leaders, it's not a lie unless someone video tapes JWs are not friendly.

Good Netflix shows to watch
by Simon inin the long winter nights you need some good tv shows to watch while you wait for the eternity between seasons of game of thrones.. we've watched marco polo (pretty good) and have just started watching orange is the new black which is not at all what i imagined (didn't know it was funny!).
house of cards is on the list too as we've heard good things about that.. anyone have any others that are worth seeing?.

Marco Polo is good, rent "Cold in July" with Micheal C Scott it will throw you in a weird direction. The end of Dexter sucked, I read where he helped some fan propose to his wife in Colorado at the Indy Festival.
The show "The 100" was recently added to Netflix, can't say it did anything for me.

From all the letters they wrote, is the Watchtower using the methods employed by the Ultra-Rich who try to protect their kids Trust Funds from lawsuits? Watchtower's job is to protect their local assets but who is going to protect Bob-the-Elder, he's the Elder who never saved a penny and lives next door to me in the Trailer Park. He get's up at 3:00 AM delivering newspapers for $250 a month, who is going to help my Trailer Park buddy?
Can a plaintiff go after all the possessions and business assets owned by the guilty elders involved in gross incompetence now or will the Watchtower step in and protect them? From the Meno Park story, all I can see is they are trying to put lots of Ziplock baggies and Tupperware around the Kingdom Hall properties while putting a "OPEN SEASON NOW!" on the Elders backs! Are they trying to put all legal burdens on the elders now?

Even as a Elder some assholes played that game of dangling the Kingdom Ministries for people who had work outside the United States.
I had to grab Kingdom Ministry's out of some of the nasty Elders bags, my friend too(He's out of the Organization, almost beat the hell out of his judicial committee and they avoided his house because he said he would find them in Field Service and "F' them up if they tried anything funny, he was never removed because he had ties to the White Arian nation(I swear i saw him fight two big guys and kick their ass because of unfinished business!. How many people got screwed over with those forms! Remember the story of the householder chasing the little witness around the corner to fight him only to find a Samoan looking JW with a book bag? Think of Reno 911 Brother Thor, now you have my photo in your mind!

How many years did you eagerly wait the Anointed members of Christ to die so the End would draw near? That's what I was taught, we were taught the Anointed would be all but extinct before Jesus Christ came back. The rate of growth is showing we are heading the opposite direction, the End is actually moving further out in time because more people are taking part of the lord's Evening Meal. That's how I was taught, were you taught a different meaning of why the Anointed would shrink before Jehovah's Day of Anger?

Blue Brother, I agree their reasoning is bad on all the reasons they gave why Jesus was raised from the dead. The fourth reason is irrelevant, its not evidence or provides any basis for belief other than telling their brain washed followers to believe because 1914 prove's Jesus is alive and well!
What forms of logic are they using, the magazines reflect their writers are of the lowest quality or are on such a tight leash they can't provide coherent reasons for belief!

I questioned some Mormons today
by joe134cd inas a result of my fading from the jw religion, i have taken an interest in the mormon religion.
personally i think mormonisim is a bigger con than the jw religion.
with all knowledge i've been acquiring, i was interested to find out what the followers of the mormon religion knew about the churches history.

joe, the Mormons encourage their members to be highly functional in the World and even donate to charity and be highly involved with their communties.
Two of my doctors are Mormons, when was the last time you meet a doctor who was raised a Jehovah's Witness? There are a few doctors who joined the Watchtower after being told half-truths how we view education but Mormons are proud to get their kids educated.
Mormons are having problems with the Internet like other groups, kids are asking their parents questions about Joseph Smith, B. Young and their views on different races. Mormon kids don't get expelled for against questions, they are not punished because they want answers why their leaders acted poorly and now the Mormon Church is trying to get ahead of their questions by hiring public relations firms to address the concerns instead of blowing off, ignoring their kids concerns and questions. When have JWs ever been honest about their past, they hide, they lie and prevarication is their key weapon against truth!
The Watchtower is so arrogant your not allowed to ask questions, your not allowed to "Keep Testing (Rev 2:1-4) or prove your in the Truth by aligning the Watchtower's teaching with the Bible. The Mormons don't claim to follow the Bible totally, they have been honest by stating the Book of Mormon has a higher rank. These college kids are asking plenty of questions, don't think their blinded like JWs because they are fighting against a past as bad as the JWs and dealing with it, not kicking people out for wanting to know the truth about their Past!

If you want to know how sad the Kingdom Ministry has gotten try reading the KM linked below unless you prefer JW-Links where they don't have your personal info on Adobe Acrobat. I read the KM and only quote a few sad paragraphs, you can feel their work is dying unless we get total Worldly Chaos or some terrible event creating interest otherwise they provide no value to society!

How do we deal with angry householders?
Reply with mild and gracious words. (Prov.15:1) Did you wake him up or interrupt him? Although we do not apologize for our work, you could humbly apologize for calling at an inopportune time. Is he angry because of an untrue rumor that he has heard about us? If so, you might say: “I can understand why that would upset you. However, it seems that what you have heard about usis not accurate. May I explain?” Does he object to one of our beliefs, perhaps regarding disfellowshipping or blood? You could say: “I understand. Others have expressed the same concerns. May I show you from the Bible the basis for that teaching?”
If the person is highly agitated, it may be best to take your leave without trying to reply. If he asks that Jehovah’s Witnesses not visit him again, you can assure him that his wishes will be honored..."
